THE PROJECT

Harris Landscape Construction is a great Reno landscape company, but their dated website was doing them no favors in the digital world. The owner, Dan Cozzi, wanted something aesthetically pleasing and functional – a website that would proudly showcase all the amazing things this company does.

THE APPROACH

There wasn’t much in the way of content to salvage from the old website, so we started from scratch with a shiny and responsive new theme and a robust CMS. We wanted to make it easy for HLC staff to update content like customer reviews and portfolio pictures. I took a careful look at the local competition to differentiate HLC from the pack, and we ended up with something that’s easy to navigate, pleasing to view and highly manageable on the back end. To start climbing in visibility, I’m also doing some targeted blogging a few times every month.

THE UPSHOT

The old site is but a memory now, and the new site is exactly what HLC had in mind. Slow and steady is the ticket with blogging, so I plan to keep plugging away on useful content to keep growing the site’s visibility.
